Description

The Museum tells the story of the evolution of the technological achievements on display.

Visitors learn about developments in the field of IT from the 1970s to the mid-1990s and the ways in which they led to the digital present and how they will contribute to the technology of the future.

The goal of the Hellenic Museum of Computing is to gather and share knowledge about the history of computing with its visitors.

Educational programs

Tours of the Museum are interactive.

It has an "escape room" with hidden messages, secret combinations and many puzzles to take players on a journey through the history of IT (aimed at adults and children over 12 years old).

The Museum also undertakes creative activities for children with educational activities such as

  • Painting their 'imaginary' computer
  • Changing/interpreting familiar words by generation, such as what is a Tik Tok? What is a transistor?
