The Museum brings visitors in contact with the animal and plant kingdom and introduces them in a scientifically understandable way to the functions of the world of plants and animals and the interdependence - balance of ecosystems. 

The Museum's educational activities aim at the acquisition of knowledge and the formation of environmental awareness. They are addressed to pupils, students, teachers and the general public. 

In addition to organized guided tours of the Museum's premises, the Education Department cooperates with teachers, students, volunteers and museum educators for the realization of programs, projects and children's workshops. The aim of all these activities is to familiarise the public with the natural environment, to understand the interdependence that governs it and to raise public awareness of the dangers facing the natural world, so that they can take action to protect it.
