Camps are happening this spring all around Zurich, and we have a list of our favourites!
Kids in Switzerland enjoy a number of school holidays throughout the year.
Autumn, winter, spring and summer holidays, along with Christmas, Easter and the various Canton holidays that offer long weekends to escape the daily routine. After a snowy winter the Spring holidays are just around the corner. And while the roll-out of the Covid-19 vaccine is very optimistic for future travel, it is still not easy to move within and outside of Europe as easily as we used to. Being in Switzerland we are lucky to. enjoy the Swiss countryside a healthy and beautiful setting for families and kids to enjoy their time together, and there are many places to discover on Momizen.com.
Throughout the week it is not always so easy to be in the mountains and for the parents who will be staying in the city during the weekdays of the school break, we have curated a list of camps that can provide a fun and educational time for kids, half or full-day. They offer a great opportunity to deepen an existing skill or learn something new.
Keep in mind that requirements for open spaces due to Covid-19 apply and available places are limited.

ARTISTIC & CREATIVE
1. Creative Camps in English at Academicus in Zurich
April 26 – 30th, 2021, for ages 5 – 10 years old
Kids will learn everything there is to know about pre-historic animals, the animals that surround us today and even visit them in the Wilderness Park and the Zurich Zoo.
A full day program is included for working parents between 8:30 – 18:00!
2. Awaken your children's artistic interests at Creative You in Thalwil!
April 26 – 30th, 2021, for ages 5 – 10 years old
The creative workshops include ceramic making and painting, gardening, use of textiles, art and jewelry/ key chain making.
Children will learn about the materials and create their own designs to take home.
EDUCATION ABOUT SUSTAINABILITY & THE ECOSYSTEM
1. A Camp on the permaculture farm ReGeneration
May 4th – 7th, 2021 for ages 6 – 12 years old
A bilingual summer camp in English & German located on a working permaculture farm.
Activities include gardening, harvesting food, interacting with the animals and learning about permaculture and sustainable living.
2. Children's yoga & nature holiday camp
April 25 – 30th, 2021, for ages 6 – 12 years old
The Children Marvel Yoga and Nature Holiday Camp is a great opportunity for young children to familiarize, have a nice time, and wonderfull experiences in nature for a week.
STEM
1. Virtual Coding, Robotics, STEAM, Design, Engineering Camps by Techlabs
April 6th – 9th and 26th - 30th, 2021 for ages 10+ years old and
May 4th – 7th, 2021 for ages 10+ years old
TechLabs programs explore the interaction of the digital world with scientific, engineering, artistic and mathematical concepts through projects and play. Beginners are welcome.
2. TechSpark Academy Camps for coding & robotics, taught by motivated and inspiring ETHZ instructors.
May 4th – 7th, 2021 in Talackerstrasse 41, Zurich for ages 6 – 17 years old
and
April 12th – 16th, 2021 at Inter Community School, Zumikon, for ages 6 – 17 years old
Separated by age groups and skill starting at 6 years old and up to late teens children will be introduced to Coding & Lego Robotics, Web Design, Digital Storytelling and Python Advanced.

3. Robotic & Computer Programming Camps at Futurekids
April 26 – 30th, 2021, for ages 5 – 14 years old

May 3rd – 7th, 2021, for ages 5 – 14 years old
For one week, students are immersed in the world of new technologies through exciting projects.
At the end, they have the opportunity to take their creations home to continue the adventure there.
SPORTS
Kilchberg Children Sailing school
July 19th - August 20th, for ages 7 - 12 years old
At Kilchberg Children's Sailing School children can learn how to sail in a fun and easy way along with an optimist captain on Lake Zurich.
